 Wow the uyo steemit meet up was a bomb, meeting and interacting with fellow steemians and learning about a lot about steemit. i was the first to arrive the venue after a while @alisonudeme, @ishotz and some other steemians arrived, and then came @ifioklee who helped set up and kick start the meet up. Well three wonderful things happened yesterday: A question and answer session. A birthday celebration. A talk session. The question was led by @Vwovwe, he's an interesting guy to be with,i learnt about sbd from @samsticks in this session,specifically why the price of sbd(steem back dollars) keeps on increasing daily and some other intersting stuff, if u weren't there you missed o. About the birthday,guess whose birthday it was? It was @alisonudeme's  ,she a very vibrant good looking steemian,she brought her birthday to steemit because of her love for steemit; according to her steemit had changed her life. We all celebrated her, taking pictures and sharing her cake,trust me the cake was delicious. 😋 The talk session was the most important part, where i got to meet our bosses @ejemai, @tojukaku @evelyniroh who were the participants of the talk session. Miss @evelyniroh gave a brief history of how she started steemit,and how she amassed her large number of followers,which was through the community work of different people in different groups she was in, she even gave us an idea of a particular contest we could do to get more followers and upvotes. While mr @tojukaku advised we work together as a community interacting with ,and helping upvote each others posts. On the other hand mr @ejemai was very blunt and sincere,he adviced us as a big brother ,who is very concerned would,that it was either we were 100 serious with steemit or we should quit it, he talked about the hub he opened which was his own way of giving to the community of youths, so that we don't have to go through the challenges,he went through when he first joined steemit, and admonished us to take steemit as serious as possible cause,we owed it to ourselves to be comfortable in life and not the government. I had a really nice time and at the meetup and was inspired to up my game on steemit,thank you @ ejemai, @tojukaka, @evelyniroh and @samsticks for making this meetup a success,i value you guys.
