## Curiosity, The Bedrock For New Discoveries ᴾⁱˣᵃᵇᵃʸ. ᶜᵒᵐ Right from a very tender age, i started a journey on trying to know what makes things work, had many questions in my head like why, how, where, when, which and so on. I am someone who doesn't really care about ready made results, I prefer seeing the process. I bet you know why already ? but Incase you don't know, it's because I want to be able to reproduce that kind of result too when a need arise. During my childhood, I had a lot of experiences like other kids do on trying bto discover things. It's funny how that at the end of some of them you see amazing results. Like some kids, I can't count the number of times I damage electronic in my home. I was not an engineering students but curiousity taught me how to fix some little gadgets through trial and error. It all started like a joke, I remember my first experience was with a stabilizer, it just stopped working and my parents threw it out. Out of the pressing desire to know what was wrong with it, I opened it and discovered that a wire inside was cut, after fixing the wire. I tried the stabilizer and lo and behold, it worked, that was the genesis. I can't express the joy in my heart that day, it was like heaven on earth and you know what? I got motivated to do more. I never stopped there, till it got to the point when my parents started bringing spoilt electronic for me to fix in the house. ---- Curiosity opens us to new discoveries, it makes us discover hidden potentials that have been lying dormant within us. I am so happy with all the results I got from being curious. Some of them were successful and some were bad, in fact very bad but for that matter but one thing I love about each experience is that, it gives me new ideas on how to tackle such problems next time. Another experience I have was during my high school day, I was in Junior secondary school (JSS ) one then. my dad promised to give me one of his mobile phones because I was bothering him about phone, after considering my good performance in school and making me promise not to relent in doing good academically, he decided that he was going to give me one of his botton phones. I was very happy to get that feedback from him. You know that feeling, finally I was going to get a phone that uses memory card, has two SIM (subscriber Identity Module) cards and also a camera hehe. It was like Christmas for me. ---- When the day reached for him to give me the phone, I got the worst news of my life, the phone was not powering on. He said he tried all he could yet it didn't turn on. He has not been using it for a while because he promised to give it to me. The joy on my face faded after getting that news yet I collected the phone from him. I took days tryint to find out what was wrong with the phone. I loosed the phone, did all that I could, but it didn't work. I almost gave up on trying to revive the phone but curiousity didn't let me, I just know that since the phone didn't fall and it was okay before he dropped it. The problem was something minor. ------ One of those days, I picked the phone, loosed it and in the process I removed almost everything and while coupling it back to test it, I forget to put back the memory card that used to be on the phone . When I powered the phone, boom! It turned on. What? I was so excited. It was then I realized that the memory card was the fault. It was too big for the phone. I reached out to my dad and I showed him the phone. He was shocked how I was able to make the phone come back to life. When I told him that it was the memory card, he was surprise and wondered why none of really thought of it all this while. I was able to get my phone back to life although, I almost tempered with the screen in the process of trying to know what was wrong. ------- **My experience taught me that, not everything could be solved in a day and the fact that people say it won't work doesn't mean it will not actually work, One only need to keep trying.**

Thanks For Reading
