## Hunter's comment
Code::Stats is a new service records your programming sessions and generate stats about it. You gain XP every time you type something into your IDE/editor and you can see them grouped by programming languages.

It has [plugins](https://codestats.net/plugins) for the mainstream editors and IDEs.

I would expect more stats since this data is valuable about how software developers work. Like how many keystrokes I do, how many lines I add/remove daily, etc.

One valid question about the product is basically you install a keylogger into your computer. I personally don't like sending this data into a 3rd party api call.

However, it's open-source and distributed under BSD license so you can run your own [code::stats](https://gitlab.com/code-stats) instance.
