<div class="text-justify"> Every human posses a specific gift/skill that makes them unique and different from everyone, not everyone is privileged to be born with some specific talents or have the ability to discover their natural talent at a very young age. Though it should be stressed that being gifted and learning a skill can seem synonymous but they are two different things, for instance you would see some kids with natural beautiful vocals that reflects when they sing, it is not as if they were taught by anybody but it is just who they are. Whereas you will see some kids posses some amazing skill sets not because they were born with it but due to the fact that they were exposed to learning of that specific skill at a very young age. Which means if someone's parent is an instrumentalists it wouldn't be strange if you see their children perform extraordinarily while playing instruments. With that being said, I assure you it is still within the context of what I'm about to discuss, you would know when you get there lol...... ********* ******* Throughout my years on earth I have encountered a lot of extraordinary children with amazing skills and talents, As unfortunate as it is that majority of this children don't get the recognition they deserve in order to foster their talents and do better for themselves, regardless I still love to admire them whenever I see one. As a broadcast student I was privileged to visit many studios in Abeokuta while studying mass communication in Moshood Abiola polytechnic. The primary reason for visiting studio is not because I'm recording a track or something, it is all in the name of school practical and when it comes to broadcast student we never run out of practicals to do. Most times I'm usually the leader of my practical group, with that I'm burdened with the responsibility of ensuring the whole practical goes well which begins with looking for suitable studio outside the school to record different kind of broadcast programmes. To an extent I love doing it but sometimes it just extremely tiring to have so much to do especially the scripting aspect of it. Moving from one studio to another in search of a good and conducive environment to record our practical, I eventually stumbled upon a studio around Panseke Assis in Abeokuta. It wasn't actually the best in down but what I witnessed in that studio kept me glued to it, I mean from the moment I found that studio I did all my broadcast practicals there to show how much I loved being there. The studio wasn't anything extraordinary, firstly their services was cheap and they offer quality programme editing but just like you must have imagined it was more than that. ******* ********* This studio is owned by a man which I can't remember his name, I saved is contact as Studio man panseke which is quite funny but in order for me to ensure I recall the memory of the contacts I saved, it is better to save the names with something that has to the with the location I met such person or their profession. This man who happens to be the owner of this studio has two kids, a boy and a female. At then the boy was around 12 years while the sister is around 6/7 years old based on her looks. The first time I went into the studio I met the dad but the day I eventually came to record my practical programme I met his son in the audio suite while the dad was no where to be found. As at then I did not know he was the son of the owner of the studio, So when I called the owner of the studio he said I should not worry that the boy will handle the recording. I became pissed because the boy in front of me was just a kid but the dad kept reassuring me that the kid will handle everything. Without waiting any longer we started recording the programme along with my colleagues that came along. | Programme| Recording |-|- || I couldn't help but feel so unsettled because I couldn't afford the programme to be recorded poorly and I could have chose to come back another time but we are almost out of time already. I just had faith and hope for the best. The kid whose name is Daniel assisted us getting familiar with the studio settings and mics. As soon as that was done the recording began, I was on the other side of the studio being separated by a glass from the girl reading the script but from the way Daniel was navigating through the equipment I knew instantly he was not a novice. The funny part was that he was so polite and spoke maturely so I thought he was probably around 15 years old. Believe me I'm not the type that get impressed very easily, navigating the equipment of a Studio requires special training which you might still find it difficult to make use of but seeing this kid make use different editing software in making sure the recorded programme is top notch, all I could scream of in my mind was "Wow". He edited the programme added necessary sound effects and burned it into a disc, I would have shared some of his pictures but I never knew a day would come that I would write about my encounter with him. They were other apprentice there watching him and learning and I kept wondering, who is this boy? After he has successfully done all that was requested, he stood up picked up his phone I started playing "Snake bite game" on his phone that was when I figured out he was definitely younger than I thought. I walked to him just to figure out what his story was, believe me when I say I have a way of making people tell me what I needed to know. Apparently his mom left when he was young and he and his sister has been with their dad ever since. The studio is like a home to him since the studio is within their house. Absent of his mother means he spends so much time in the studio with his father and that was how he learnt everything he needed to know about editing. ******** ******** I have always wanted to go into programme editing but I procrastinate a lot so I just stick with script writing but seeing a kid of that age handle editing so perfectly, it made me wonder what was the big deal about programme editing. He actually assisted me by giving me some softwares to begin with and taught me some tricks. I actually used what I have learnt from him to edit a couple of advertising practical which involves radio commercials. I have never felt so proud of myself though I never told anyone I learnt those skills from a 12 years old kid. ******* ******** _***This write-up was inspired by weekly featured content titled "Sheer intelligence" in hive learners community.***_ ******* ******* _***Cover image - [𝖣𝖾𝗌𝗂𝗀𝗇𝖾𝖽 𝗎𝗌𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖼𝖺𝗇𝗏𝖺](https://www.canva.com/design/DAGFIV7ay1o/mHkDClBNWDiH9otAgFRhQA/edit)***_ ********* ********* </div> <center>***THANKS FOR VISITING MY BLOG***</center> _***All pictures are mine or else stated otherwise***_
