I spent some time sorting out more boxes in the storage. Guess what I found?

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;It's the art book for Bioshock Infinite. I'm glad it's still in good condition and still looks new after all these years. The Bioshock series definitely holds a special place in my gaming heart. Besides the cinematic and symbolism throughout, I appreciated the artistic style. It brought out a steampunk side of me I never knew I had.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;It was the first time I've ever pre-ordered games and later related merchandise. Heck, it was also one of the first game series I chose to 100% all the achievements and replayed a bunch of times to do so. In my game library, Bioshock series stood at a solid fourth place in terms of total time spent.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;And thing is, this happened while I was a university student. A time when I didn't have that much to spare, but I liked the game and its concepts enough that I had to spoil myself. So, the book is coming in to the bookshelf in the house. Now, if I could find the other Bioshock art books somewhere in that storage, I'll be golden.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Like I said, the art has a very steampunk feel. The artists did a great job setting the tone and made it feel like it was 1912. I could post more, but it's better for you to find out for yourself. I recommend checking out the fictional advertisements and propaganda. They make you appreciate the effort and research put into those works.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Come to think of it, many of the patterns and concept arts could make some real great tattoos. Going off on a tangent, it makes me wonder if tattoo artists could draw inspirations from this type of book.

&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The book itself doesn't cost that much. You could get the hardcover version yourself for about $35. Of course, this isn't the only art book for the series.
