Last weekend, we got a visit from the remaining upper branch of the Johnson clan, on my mom's side of the family, from up North. I have no grandparents left on either side of my tree, nor do I have any great aunts or great uncles still alive.

As some of you know, I lost my Uncle Scott just before Easter this year. He was one of the Johnsons and their oldest brother. It's a deafening sound, hearing your thoughts whisper through the sands of time that *your generation*, is next.

I have lots of memories with them as a youth, especially with their kids/my cousins. We decided we should start that back up, the 'reunions' and camping trips. Something to look forward to and to strengthen the family bonds of this new upcoming generation. <b>REMEMBER TO BE YOU!</b> <i>I always am, no matter how much dust is in the wind.</i>
