<div class="text-justify"> It's that time of year, where we (the kids and I - mostly @freyamber) go around and trim some bushes and tree limbs, shape the berries and ultimately plant some more trees. I love nature and all the hidden beauties of it. From the insects to the thorns to the sweet and sour fruits of all of our labors together. Here is an early look at what we have going on this year. | -|-| Grapes are looking half-way decent. Figure should get (we counted) at least a dozen bunches off of this particular vine. Got a few smaller ones that may have a couple, but this one has almost doubled in size since last year. | -|-| The blueberries are doing awesome. I'm predicting triple the production this year from last year as long as I don't accidentally run any of them over or snip their boughs 😁 || -|-|-| The reds! My red raspberries did way better than I thought they would. I was only expecting 1 of the 5 I planted to make it because they got choked pretty hard but 3 of them did! One even went ballistic and shot runners everywhere and even reached the fence! | -|-| The blackberry patches seem to be a favorite of the kitties. I have regrown one that was taken over by the honeysuckle last year and cultivated four other patches. I'm expecting about 3 gallons of those sour delights this year. | -|-| Got some pretty baby blues this year! I've been cultivating 2 new patches of the blue raspberries and caring for the mighty fine mature ones. They have almost taken over the entire length of the back fence on the end of the field! | -|-| And yes, my apples and peaches. They look much more healthy than they did last year and are giving me reassurance that I can do well with the cherries out here. I have both black and red cherries potted up by the house and am debating whether or not to ground them now, or wait until Autumn. What do you think?
