## Something About Ice Crystals
<div class="text-justify">that really bring the reality of winter to light. They also look cool as shit on the windows in the morning before the warmth of the sun and the defrost melts them into little trickles and mini rivers. Today/yesterday, I took a few moments to pause before taking the princesses to school and snap a few pictures. It was their eyes that first seen them and said, "Wow! The windows look cool Dad! Why does it do that?"

That prompted my camera's curiosity and an explanation about the cycle of water on earth. It also got into a discussion about individuality and how no two crystals are ever (at least that have ever been found) identical to each other. They have a life all their own. It may not be what we see as a living breathing organic organism, but there is no life without water. Not on earth anyway. I went on to further explain that even identical human twins aren't exactly alike, despite having the same parents and such. They thought this was pretty cool and then wanted to see the pictures.</div>

<div class="text-justify">You may be asking yourselves, why are they black and white? Because the world isn't. I also really like the way it brings out the white of the frost. @jayna wrote <a href="/actifit/@jayna/actifit-jayna-20191115t055842588z">a refreshing post recently </a>about the effect shadows have in the winter due to the snow, and she's right. A brilliant white light in the sky combined with a white background for most of the scenery? Just looking at it makes you want to take a deep breath. Anyhooz, whatever you do or don't do, <b>REMEMBER TO BE YOU!</b> <i>I always am, even while driving in my sleep.</i></div>
