<center></center> ## Ya, It's Wednesday <div class="text-justify">and we even went on a walk that day. But, for reasons and such, that's not this post. This post is about a park we recently visited. Some things about it I love, some things are quite disturbing. There is also much that I feel, is quite dangerous. I've been asking myself some questions like why this, but not that? <br> At best, the earliest some of the equipment could have been put in there was 3 years ago. Surely, the park manager or city or someone would have noticed the state of ill-repair of the rest of the park? Right? Or did they even care? Was it just a cosmetic once-over to give the neighborhood a slight curb appeal? Splintered Tunnels -|-| | -|-| The Road In, Is A Bumpy Ride|Good Thing I Drive A Truck -|-| ## Sign, Sign, Everywhere A Sign <div class="text-justify"><div class="pull-right">https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/enginewitty/8Mki3nkc-image.png</div>So, there you have my wonderfully disturbing visit with the princesses to this 'Nature Park'. These signs were down in several places and I propped a few up. They served as more of a personal reminder in my own struggles at this point. <br>But maybe that was the whole point? Maybe this whole big kit-n-kaboodle was just a reflection of me? Maybe I'm looking too deep into something. What I do know, is that this park has insanely massive potential to be one of the most beautiful and inspiring here in all of Cookeville. I hate seeing it being tossed to the fray. I can't help but wonder, do I have the power (or motivation) to do anything about it? It wouldn't be the first time I've 'moved mountains'.</div> ## So, I Have To Ask <div class="text-justify">Is it worth putting any effort in to find out if the city council or school board or whoever is in charge, has any budget to fix it? If not, do I take it upon myself to do a fundraiser? Would it be something perhaps an SPS or Fundition would be good for? It affects none of you. It's only my personal community and quite frankly, I live 20 minutes from this park. ___ The girls loved it though. They even wanted to go back the next day. I thought of several excuses that night not to take them and luckily, it started raining pretty good (still kind of is). Freya wanted to go up the rusted-out chain slide so bad, I was afraid I was too heavy and the chains would break if I carried her up there. ___ 'Nature Park' though. I can see this thing with rope bridges, more sweet wooden play areas and the walking trail actually finished, that encompasses this whole thing. Ya, it only goes about a third of the way around. It looks almost as if they started to modify and update the park, and funds went elsewhere so they never completed it. So what do you think?
