Oh, hello! Today's the day [so-called Bomb Cyclone](https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/04/stunning-images-of-the-bomb-cyclone.html) hit. There are some impressive images of the storm from overhead. Quite the storm, very scary. Windows all shivering from the high winds, a thick blanket of snow just whistling and swirling around. What a time to stay indoors.

Except I got to do what a dog's got to do. Going outside today was especially painful. My mom was very concerned and put two jackets on me, one on top of the other. Someone should tell her that it doesn't actually do anything for me. But I appreciate the sentiment anyway. And I'm fashionable!

After a brief moment outside I wanted to run immediately back in. Gosh the stinging snowy winds! I can't stay here. Home... I need home! The moment I finished peeing I pulled to go back inside. Never mind that I still needed to do one more thing. I thought maybe I could hold it.

Oh, no. I couldn't. There goes an embarrassing nugget on the entrance hallway. Followed by a small scolding. Oops.

After getting back inside, I ate, and then parked on the bed. I like the colors in this photo. Very interesting contrast. Nothing like warm blankets to snuggle into. *Yawn.*

It cooled down after awhile, so we went outside again.

Out in the snow, a footprint. I sniffed if it a bit. Huh! It's my father! Well, you can be sure I peed on that. After all, I am the boss of the family. Humans know about pee marking territory right? *sniff, sniff*

I left some paw prints myself. Look how cute they are. Opal was here.

Alright, it's cold so we didn't stay that long outside this time. And then time to get more sleep to round out the lazy snowy day.

If I wrote about my doggy journey every day, I would bore myself to death. Sleep. Wake. Eat. Bathroom. Sleep. Play. Eat. Bathroom. Sleep. But ahhhh, the pampered dog's life is still great.
