Well, the Royal Rumble is over, the first women's rumble is done, and the road to Wrestlemania has officially begun. But how did I fair in my [predictions](https://steemit.com/sports/@erebus/royal-rumble-card-and-predictions), and what are the possibilities of wrestling themed contests in the future?

*Rundown*

Well first thing first, lets run down the predictions, when it came to every single match on the card besides the men's rumble, I was correct. Though I did fail to give any prediction for the pre-shows 6 man cruiserweight tag-match. In regards to the men's rumble I had believed Finn Balor to take home the victory, and despite an amazing showing, he did not.

I correctly predicted A.J. Styles retaining the WWE Championship in the 2-on-1 match, Lesnar retaining the Universal title in the fatal 3-way, both the tag matches, and Asuka winning the women's rumble, though I was disappointed in the match as a whole.

*Contests*

Now for the talk of possible contests. I am thinking of eventually beginning to hold two types of wrestling based contests here. The first kind will involve a simple prediction list with an entry to a drawing for prizes based on how many predictions are correct. The second potential contest will involve rebooking a certain match, angle, or even feud, with me picking my favorite, and rewarding both it (my favorite) and the highest voted booking as well.

The possibility of these contests depend on whether or not we can bring together a decent wrestling community here on steemit. If you are interested in either contest, please comment below letting me know!
