When someone says botanical garden, people usually think of gorgeous exotic flowers you've never seen before, one more beautiful than the other, to make you feel like you're in paradise. This is normal as these gardens have to offer something unique to attract as many visitors as possible and to make them feel it worth the entry fee. Well, today I'm going to show you a different kind of botanical garden, that has nothing to do with what I have described above. Far from it and it's still very valuable for many. The entrance gives you the idea of a well taken care of garden, where not only the plants are well kept, but the environment as well. There's a white magnolia tree right at the entrance, which must looked very nice a couple of weeks ago, but its time has already passed and the flowers are already withering. This is what is left, after the petals fall off. I've never seen this, so it was a good lesson for me. This is part of the botanic garden and this is where you may ask what kind of botanical garden is this? Well, the garden belongs to the University Of Medicine and Pharmacy of Targu Mures and it has as purpose teaching the students of the faculty of pharmacy. These are not exotic flowers, but different herbs that are used in medicine. Each of them has a tag, on which you can see the family the plant is part of and the name of it, in Latin. There were some flowers as well, but I suppose not for the beauty. This is what I call German iris. And this is where the magic happens. You may wonder why were these young people there and you may think they were visitors. Well, they were but not like me as they were students. The two ladies were standing in front of those herbs and one was telling what she knew about one specific species, while the other was checking what she was saying. The other group was doing the same. They were discussing different plants. I don't know if the exams are taking place here or not, but it is an excellent way to practice what they have learned. At first glance the bedding looks like neglected, but it's not. It's just different as the purpose of it is not to please the eye of the visitor. What I loved about it was the echo-friendly feeling they wanted to give the whole garden, by using wooden logs for the bedding. It's a good idea and it looks great. This is not my area, but still, I was trying to identify some plants, just for fun and was very happy to see these and was sure these were what I thought it were. Do you recognize them? It's the [Phaseolus coccineus](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaseolus_coccineus), commonly known as runner bean ๐ It helps having a garden, isn't it? There was a maps of the garden, with all the plants. What I loved about the place is that it's not just about the plants. It's an absolute beauty, it's the nicest park I've seen lately. It's far from the city center and the noise, so if you want to have a moment of peace, you can stay here, enjoy the silence and fresh air. It is open from Monday to Friday, during office hours and the entrance is free. Students were studying under the trees for the upcoming exam session.

[//]:# (!pinmapple 46.555006 lat 24.583669 long d3scr)
