It's been ages since my last post in Jay's community, but it's possible I've never posted here, so today I'd like to correct that and post my Wednesday walk, which actually happened more than three weeks ago. It was a nice, sunny Sunday and I was on the mission to enjoy autumn as much as I can. This year we had a long and nice one, but as all good things come to an end and nothing lasts forever, cold and rain was expected shortly.  This is a huge leasure are, you can also call it beach I suppose, even so it's artificially created and not an exit to the sea.  During the summer, this wonderful place becomes a party place for all activities and it's packed with people from all over the country.  Some own their own beach cabin, which worth gold during summer months.  There's a bridge crossing the canal, which served as a gate as well, for many years. Those eager to enjoy the benefits of this beautiful place, had to pay the entry fee. Now the entry is free and you only pay if you want to use the pools. This was an excellent idea as there are so many bars, restaurants, cafes, outdoor gym facilities, that people can use.    You can rent a boat during the summer season and row around the canal.   This was in October, so nice autumn decorations could not be missing.  Starting from midday till late night, this place is a real minefield for those who are on diet and heaven for those who like good food, drinks and parties.  At the time of my visit most of these units were closed, only a couple were open, so there was no danger to my diet or pocket.   The best thing about this place is, it's a bit far from the city noise and pollution, so you can just sit there and relax or spend some time at one of those places that can guarantee you overeat and fill your vein with as much alcohol as you can afford :)  Off limit for unauthorized people. Who are the authorized people? Don't ask me as I have no idea.  You can sit there, have a cold drink and enjoy the view.  Or if you're a bit more adventurous and not afraid of water, this place could be also for you. I've been told years ago, there was a ship here, serving as restaurant. I love everything that is non-conventional, so a boat would look great here.   I was hoping to see the ground covered by a thick layer of fresh leaves, but they are cleaning the walkways regularly and at the time of my visit, the leaves were already dry, which is not as fun as fresh leaves.   This modest wooden cabin is a reminder of what this place looked like 30 - 40 years ago. Most of the cabins were demolished, rebuilt and are up to nowadays standards, but I suspect there is an ownership issue here. That lot worth quite a lot in my opinion.  You can sit in these metal carriages, and take an imaginary ride, while drinking beer after beer, till you literally feel like traveling :)  And this is the pool area, for every age category. Maybe not the very little one though.  There are three major pools and one for kids. One is covered, for winter use as well and is hosting different sports events, like swimming or water polo competitions.  As far as I know this one is Olympic size.   There are two huge playgrounds for kids, so you don't have to worry they get bored. Your only concern should be how you take them home, as it's going to be difficult.   There are two football fields as well as several tennis courts. At the time of my visit, there was some kind of championship going on. It was fun to watch for a while.  Shoot!
