Question To Steemit Devs
I've been watching the madness going on lately on the Steem blockchain without saying anything. I've been reading post about pretty much everything. Theories, analysis, predictions, tantrums, you name it, we have seen it all. Most of the users had something to say, including those who have no idea about what's going on on Steem. Some of the posts were really good, others were just posting to look important and smart. It ok, everyone has the right to free speech, even though not many care to red these posts.

Watching this unfold with Ned selling Steemit to the highest bidder with his Ninja mined stake is what made everyone worry. He probably had his reasons in doing so. It's his business, his money, he can do as he pleases and he just did. It doesn't matter if I'm ok with it or not, that counts less or not at all if I want to be honest.

Then last night when the dust seemed to settle, came the news about [Soft Fork 0.22.2](https://steemit.com/steem/@softfork222/soft-fork-222) ans the whole madness started again.

In the middle of this madness communities went live, @steemitblog made the [announcement](https://steemit.com/steemit/@steemitblog/communities-have-arrived) two days ago. Steemit.com has been transformed from a decentralized blogging platform, to a decentralized communities platform. Yay! Although there's a lot of confusion about how communities work and what's the best way to post, or better, where to post to get the maximum of curation and visibility, this is a good thing. I believe people will get used to it and find their communities where they can thrive and others are going to find a way to abuse everything and everyone, crossposting all day to milk autovotes.

There were a bunch of changes lately on Steemit, I'm not going to name them, if you're here on a daily bases, you know what's happened. Steemit devs have been working on making Steemit a better place. I bet they are under a lot of pressure these days, uncertainty is the best keyword to describe the latest events.

Uncertainty has made a few users to power down. I don't know how many are there, only know a few. The truth is, you can't keep anyone here against their will. If they want to leave, let them leave. After the Soft Fork 0.22.2 announcement I saw witnesses leave as well. I can't blame them either.

## My Question To Steemit Devs

In the middle of this madness, I have a question for Steemit devs and I'd like an answer if possible.

Since content creation and commenting on posts is the way of communicating here on the Steem blockchain, I'd like to ask Steemit devs when they are going to dedicate a little of their time to make blogging on Steemit easier.

Look at the tools we have or even better, look at the tools we still don't have. There's no Draft, no scheduled post, just to name a few. We got notification last week, after almost four years. These things are available at other front ends and are very useful, even essential if you're posting on a regular basis, more than once a day.

Probably a few people are going to ask themselves if this is the most important thing to do in the middle of these very important things that are going on on the Steem blockchain. My answer is probably not, but then again when is? All these years no one has bothered to implement these things. Hardforks after hardforks, changes in revenue share, wallet separation, everything was and is important but this. When is going to come a time when I don't have to use other front ends to do drafts or schedule posts? How many years do we have to wait to get some tools?

An answer would be nice. @vandeberg?
