Yesterday I read the post that [Blocktrades was offering a Steem-Hive pair on their exchange](https://peakd.com/blocktrades/@blocktrades/blocktrades-offering-steem-hive-pair). I think it's a great value to the community for the coming weeks, because a lot of people are willing to exchange most/all of their Steem to Hive.

I decided to give it a go straightaway and exchanged all my liquid Steem into Hive. Because of the (already!) higher value of Hive, I got a bit less Hive than Steem, but that's how is works. I must say: that worked pretty easy!

I took the opportunity to also power up some of the (new) liquid Hive into HP. Unfortunately hive.io and Esteem don't work yet, but Peakd.com did have the wallet up and running.

Here you can see the three transactions as a proof that everything worked exceptionally well. Way to go @blocktrades and @peakd!
