# Asian cuisine is my favorite ๐ I love Japanese , Korean and tradition Chinese food. Wagamama is a British-headquartered restaurant chain which has it's food inspired by Japanese cuisine. Many of their chefs are multicultural. We have only a few of their restaurants in Dublin and only one in the city center which I know of. I used to love their dishes, especially their ***Ramen*** which is a soup-like dish with different toppings like meats, vegetables and sauces. I love soups and Ramen is great for making you feel full but not very bloated. ### My favorite Ramen is the Chicken Ramen that is on their menu with fresh chilies ๐ด However I do also like their ***Katsu Curry*** which is more sweet rather than **proper** curry that I was used to. I have tried Japanese curry dishes before which were made by my friends however this one wasn't the same, still nice though! There is a small list of main proteins you could choose from to go with your rice and curry like chicken, beef or sweet potato which is in the picture bellow. ### Although the food is nice, It's not Japanese... Even if the names of their dishes are, like bento box, donburi, gyoza and etc., which are all from a Japanese cuisine. The food isn't Japanese, its only Japanese inspired. A lot of my Japanese friend's don't like Wagamama as they find the food there flavorless and not as good as from home. As someone that hasn't had proper Japanese chefs cook for me before back then, I couldn't understand why so many Japanese didn't like Wagamama. I thought that all the dishes are the same and taste amazing. ### However Now... I have had my friends cook for me and there are a couple of places I went to with Japanese food which was filled with flavor and texture. Im not good at criticizing food because ***I love all food*** however I did **see a huge difference** between actual Japanese food and its mimics. # In Conclusion, Wagamama is great to start off into introducing yourself to a different cuisine however it is not the same as proper, tradition Japanese foods. They are cooked, spiced and even cut differently which all make a difference when making the dishes. I do love Wagamama to this day however it does seem to taste the same every time I go there. Has anyone been to Wagamama? let me know your thoughts ๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ข๐ค๐ก Thank you for reading ^.^ Love, Eriluks ๐
