I've been using Google+ for quite a few years; I remember I first got an invitation to use it from a friend of mine back when I was in high school. Quite frankly, it changed my life forever. You generally don't hear that kind of thing coming from social media, let alone... Google+ but sure, I can say it was significant. Google+ was the first time a social network really pointed me to my interest instead of just being exposed to cat images or getting swarmed with video game invites, like what happens on Facebook (I swear just one more -.-). Everything about Google+ seemed interesting, and it seemed to mix a lot of the positive qualities of Facebook, Twitter and even Tumblr. It was pretty useful for me. Today, Google+ seems to be what many have claimed "a ghost town", but really that isn't necessarily the case. Most of the activity is actually in Google+ communities, and if you search for topics you'll see what has been popular for the past few days or hour. It's really the life and soul of Google+, then with the new additions of Google+ collection, this gave niche writers and creators a bigger opportunity than ever before! Organizing all their posts into specific topics and allowing people to follow those topics, separate from just Communities. These can be a range of topics or specific, long tail niche keywords, that will help you succeed and grow a large following base! I've gotten many followers above 10,000 currently and It seems to continuously grow. Maybe you can get even more! So what are your experiences on Google+?
