The need to spread the gospel of Steemit is one task that has been firmly embraced and vigorously pursued by @euronation team right from her very beginning. Before now and mainly due to limited finances and no sponsorship, @euronation under the leadership of @eurogee has pursued its promotional activities online with concrete evidence of proofs of work done and results achieved. Because of our profound love for Steemit, we don't believe in idleness when there are no sponsors. Hence, we have utilized the power of *whatsaap* maximally, onboarding more than 1000 people with zero knowledge of Steemit program and successfully guided them to become hyperactive in Steemit blogging program. # **Goals**

Having achieved this feat online and as ardent believers in the @Stach's #Project20millionnaija#, it is time to join the like-minds, go offline and carry out massive campaigns to *steemup* the whole nation. 

To achieve this vision... 

* The team will hold at least one meetup in each of the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria Federation starting with *STEEMUP OWERRI MEGA MEETUP* before the year runs out.

* We will encourage new people to join the platform while educating those already onboarded to remain steadfast and faithful to the cause of steem blockchain. 

* We will hold one major national event in Lagos, Nigeria, during which different industry leaders would be invited to rub minds and share opinions, all intended to attract investors to steem ecosystem.  

# **Details of the meetup**

Plannings and preparations are already underway with my recent visit to Owerri, Imo state during which I was able to secure a suitable venue for the event as well as hotels to be used by those who would be coming from other states. The details of the venue and hotels are as follows:
