I didn't know I have read this story until I read the plot. I vaguely remember reading it in my school years. My little brother got some short story books as a prize and since he's not a reader at all so I grabbed all his books and devoured them all. 🤣

And I liked this book as a child will have to read again to state a fresh opinion. Anyways, you described your view very well.
