So many twists and turns! Thanks brain for forgetting a lot of it, so I could experience these moments almost like it was the first time reading them :D
For example, Quintus - I completely forgot about him. had my suspicions that he might be Daedalus, especially when we learned that he got an idea to make automatons from his nephew.
And I am so glad that Nico is kinda back with the others, and that he was able to let Bianca go. Still pretty sad that he has to find his journey somewhat on his own now. If Bianca was still alive, she could have left camp with him.

The thing I didn't care about much is Percys and Annabeths romantic relationship. I have nothing against it but it wouldnt bother me if they just stay friends. The inclusion of jealousy with Luke and Rachel annoyed me at times. Especially in the scenes where Rachel, Annabeth and Percy were in the labyrinth. I guess the kiss was kinda cute. And sure this is a middle grade book but I probably don't care much about teenage relationships and their troubles? Give me more of the action :D
I also liked that we saw more examples of the gods sometimes being okay people (deities? beings?). Poseidon going to Percys birthday party, Dionysos healing Clarisses' boyfriend and expressing sadness for the death of his son.
Pans death was more hardhitting for me than I actally expected. It is pretty sad that there is so little wilderness left in the world. Balcony wilderness it is for me, I guess.
And I also liked that we got the first big battle in the end. Felt a little anticlimactic though, for the first battle of a big war. But still - finally Kronos made a real move with consequences, and we learned what the consequences for Luke were. A bit sad that we only know him a little from Book 1 and then mostly from Annabeths stories, I would have liked to see.
