A trip to the foretime
A short story will be about traveling to the abandoned village of Pozharische, where once we had a house. The village is located on the bank of the Strelna River, near the village of Poldarsa, Vologda region.

There are many such villages, which are generally already wiped off the face of the earth, which somehow live out their century in the form of country houses.

In Russia, there are a lot of abandoned villages, but these places have their own atmosphere - there is a memorable place called "Mitkin Road".

And now I will continue the story about the villages. Once in the 90's we bought a house here. Relatives lived in the neighboring village.

Coming to them, we could live in our own house, do our own farming and grow something in the garden. For me it was a childhood ..

We left the house in the late 90's, when we bought a country house almost near the city itself. Yes, in the village already lived a couple of people. It was difficult to get there: it was necessary to overcome ford on the car through the Strelna River, which in spring is very deep and even the tractor was not always able to move it.

On foot it was necessary to go from the village of Upper Anisimovo kilometers 5 through the forest, field and through a pair of suspension bridges.

To the left is our house.

In the forest, a couple of miles away is a churchyard with an abandoned church.

Passing further behind the graveyard, we saw another village.

Apparently only hunters come here.

The river can be waded.

In the distance one can see through the forest that same church.

Having visited in such places you dive into the past, the spirit of that time was still there. Here you are standing in the house and a feeling that the owner or the landlady is about to enter the house and will treat you with tea from the samovar of the lost wanderers.
