But he's on holiday (he is available but I don't want to disturb him) and surely I must be able to figure this out for myself. So I took the bull by the horns and bought a subscription with witness @arcange SteemSQL service for 10 SBD a month. I'm teaching myself how it works as I go. I'm very careful though because I don't want to break his stuff :) There is not that much documentation out there but I did find some very useful blogposts on Steemit from the past. So this is the most basic stuff I did so far: Here you can see the names of the top 20 Steemians based on reputation with their Steempower and ID number. You can see that the Steempower and reputation as displayed on Steemit.com is completely different from what it really looks like. ------  ------- It's possible to find out everything you ever wanted to know about everything . All I need to teach myself is to ask the right question in the right format from the database. This will take some time (read a lot of time) but it's fun to learn.
