When it comes to blockchain technology I'm hooked when it comes to the Steem blockchain. 

There is not another blockchain out there I care more about.

So, I got grilled today by a consultant that works for big companies (friend of mine) but knows not much about block chain technology. 

He's very good at asking the rights questions to quickly find out what you know and what you don't know about a subject he knows nothing about.

I learned a very good lesson today.

I am much better at visualizing and explaining what is possible with a blockchain than at explaining how it works on a technical level.

But he went a little bit further and started to ask me where my passion for the Steem blockchain comes from. What drives me to spend so much of my time on it. This is my list. 


1. I feel like I belong to something that is unique.
2. It's a product that's community driven.
3. It's fun here.
4. It has a gamification aspect. (earn Steem)
5. It's something that kicks against the establishment.
6. The Steem blockchain pays for it self. (a unique concept)
7. Besides blogging, It's possible to monetize the Steem blockchain in other ways.
8. It's possible to do business with other users here. (and maybe later companies).
9. It gives me the possibility to help others I could normally never help.
10. It has the potential to become something big and special in the future.
11. I just want (need) to see where this thing goes.
