Anxious feelings occur when we are fearful of what may happen in the future. When you break this down to the fact that we cannot truly know the future then anxiety is revealed as an emotion we create out of fear of the unknown - a missfire of the fight or flight response that occurs when we perceive ourselves to be in danger. If you find yourself riddled with anxiety try taking a deep breath and reciting to yourself: **"What is this anxiety? It is a fear of the unknown. The unknown is ok. Do I need to create this anxiety?
