*Opportunity can spring up at literally any time when you're in the crypto space. And at the most unlikeliest of times too, it seems. Yesterday, the **Waves** token was trading at around *5070 sats* on **Binance** when, from out of the blue, the price dropped to *1 sat*. Yeah, you heard me right!*

It seems that some unknown **Waves** whale investor triggered the ultimate sell order, crashing the price of **Waves** to present one of the best buying opportunities the crypto markets have ever seen. Depending on which side of the fence you were sitting, this freak event either got you foaming at the mouth with glee or running for the hills screaming. However, as with all these crypto flash crashes, the move was short-lived.

Not even a minute later, the price rectified itself to shoot straight back up to the *5070 sats* level as though nothing had happened. You gotta love this game we're all in, right? However, this phenomena has, and most likely will, take place again.

I believe it was last year. I was out having lunch when I decided to randomly check the market rates, as we all do. I remember almost falling off my seat when I saw **Ethereum** had plummeted to around $13. Forgetting about even finishing up the food, I scrambled out the cafe and legged it home to get it on the action and scoop up some of that cheap crypto. Alas, it was also a short lived event and the price had recovered once more when I got back. "Gutted" doesn't even come close to how I was feeling.

*Oh well, this **Waves** debacle took place when I was completely unawares. So this latest episode doesn't hurt "too" much. Looks like I need to set a load of ultra low buy orders on every crypto out there. You know, just in case...* :)
