The rise of cryptocurrency means both excitement and, at the same time, some concerns. Crypto has great opportunities if you want financial freedom. It is providing faster transactions and transparency. Now let's talk about the concerning part, then it has high volatility, and also there are some scammers misusing the crypto; however, scammers are everywhere, and scammers can also use paper money for that, and paper money is also not trackable, though crypto is transparent. So now you decide which one is best. Because of volatility and scams government wants to regulate it, but what is important is not to kill the innovation and the core aim of this technology, which is decentralization. If the government wants to control it fully, then where is decentralization? Though they can't do it. ## Understanding the Balance Many think that regulation means restriction, and this is obvious after seeing some recent government regulations towards crypto, for example, in India. India has applied tax and takes crypto under the PMLA Act because this way they want to regulate it, but this is not regulation, this is torture for the crypto users. Also highest tax applied by the government, and it seems like they want to kill innovation. Building rules and regulations for crypto can be good only when the government takes opinions from the crypto and blockchain developers, experts, and the crypto community. ## Clarity Over Confusion When communities and firms don't feel secure in any country, they leave the country and shift to a country that is crypto-friendly. What happens with crypto is that there is no clarity, and sometimes new rules are created suddenly, and the crypto firms do not even know what is legal and what is not. A clear regulatory framework is most important, and there should be no confusion in the community and crypto firms. ## Investing in Education and Tech Literacy Do you know, the indian government and policy makers do not have proper information regarding crypto, and they say crypto is gambling, but they are not understanding the technology behind it, why? because there is a lack of education now, just imagine what will happen when these people make the regulation of cryptocurrency? The government needs to involve crypto experts while making the regulations, and this way, the regulations would be best for both the government and the people. Also, educating the local public regarding crypto is most important because knowledge is the key to saving yourself from scams and to strengthening the industry. ## Final thoughts World's government need to understand that it is impossible to kill the crypto so they have to learn to live with it and now coming to the regulation topic then regulation should not be torture for the crypto community or crypto startups and it is needed to create to such environment, crypto startups and crypto community can thrive. This is exactly what is needed, and this is what is called a regulation. What is your opinion regaridng this information? Please do let me know in the comments section. Have a good day ahead.
