## Libellen-Schmetterlingshaft ■ Owly sulphur _Libelloides coccajus (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1758)_ Die Libellen-Schmetterlingshaft ist ein Netzflügler, der weder zu den Libellen noch zu den Schmetterlingen gehört. Das Insekt wird in einer eigenen Familie der Schmetterlingshafte (Ascalaphidae) eingeordnet. Noch vor einigen Jahren, waren Hafte eine Rarität in Unterfranken. Heute fliegen sie in großer Anzahl und man kann sie in zahlreichen Magerrasengebieten beobachten. Günstige klimatische Bedingungen scheinen sich positiv auf die Entwicklung dieses Insekts auszuwirken. ### _The Owly sulphur is a net-wing which belongs neither to the dragonflies nor to the butterflies. The insect is sorted into its own family of Ascalaphidae. Only a few years ago, the insect was a rarity in Lower Franconia. Today they fly in large numbers and you can observe them in numerous meager grasslands. Der Haft fliegt ausschließlich bei Sonnenschein. Sobald die Sonne hinter einer Wolke verschwindet, landet er auf einem Halm in Bodennähe. ### _The owly sulphur is an avid flyer and in sunshine almost always in the air, hunting for smaller insects. The detention flies exclusively with sunshine. Mit dieser Aufnahme hatte ich etwas zu kämpfen, da sich das Insekt immer wieder von mir abgewandt hat, um sich hinter dem Stängel zu verstecken. Letztendlich habe ich doch noch mein Bild bekommen. ### _I find particularly interesting her seat on the fruit stalks of a long withered pasque flower. I had to struggle a bit with this shot, because the insect turned away from me again and again to hide behind the stalk.
