<html> <p>One of the most frequently asked questions on the internet, 'Does penis size matter?' A question as old as time that has yet to go away and probably never will.</p> <p>The answer is complicated and usually has more to do with who you ask the question, but before I get to the answer, let's go over a few things first.</p> <p><img src="https://pixabay.com/get/eb32b80f2af5093ed1584d05fb0938c9bd22ffd41cb0124593f8c47ea3/testicles-2790218_1280.jpg"/></p> <p>Through history, Human penis size had mixed thoughts -for example in ancient Greece, a small penis was really desirable while a large one was considered 'funny', while in medieval Arabic literature a larger penis was preferred.</p> <p>This evolutionary concept is called <strong>Sexual Selection.</strong></p> <h1>What is the sexual selection? </h1> <p>Sexual selection 'theory' is a mode/form of natural selection where one sex prefers a specific characteristic in an individual of the other sex, -In this case penis size-.</p> <p>This natural selection causes men with shorter penises to die out and those with larger ones to become more common.</p> <p>Therefore, a man with a 'preferred size' has better reproductive success than others within the community.</p> <p>According to averageheight.co, The average penis size men in the United States is about 12.90 cm / 5.079 in, while 13.97 cm '5.5' in the United Kingdom. </p> <p>'Fun fact' an adult male gorilla's penis measures only around 1.5 inches.</p> <h1>Anatomy of the male reproductive system:</h1> <p><strong>Major organs:</strong> prostate gland, penis, testes scrotum, and vas deferens</p> <p>The human penis is composed of exactly three cylinders of spongy erectile tissue enclosed in a 'buck's fascia'.</p> <p>The erectile tissue is made up of two corpora cavernosal and a corpus spongiosum.</p> <p><img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/35/Male_anatomy.png" width="460" height="300"/></p> <h2>What happens during a sexual Intercourse?</h2> <p>On one hand , the main mechanism that brings about the stiffening and rising of the penis is the dilation of arteries that supply blood to the penis, when a man becomes aroused, muscles around the arteries relax therefore blood flow increase filling the three spongy erectile tissue chambers, causing the penis to lengthen and stiffen. This erection tightens the veins so the blood can’t leave the penis.</p> <p><em>Note:</em> Erection is not essential for various other sexual activities </p> <p><img src="https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/11/Figure_28_01_06.jpg" width="781" height="718"/></p> <p>On the other hand, when a woman becomes aroused, the vaginal lips and clitoris swell, the nipples on her breast become erect, and the vaginal walls fill with blood.Mucus glands secrete more and more liquids so that the vagina becomes lubricated and allow the penis to slip easily.</p> <p>The pleasure comes from stimulating the nerves around vagina and penis by friction actions until orgasms are reached.A 3 cm penetration is usually sufficient to stimulate the nerves in the vagina.What the size do is to facilitate the penetration thus facilitate the whole experience in general.An increased heart rate, respiration and muscles contraction is usually seen.Chemicals in the brain such as Dopamine is released during sexual intercourse which stimulates specific areas of the brain responsible for this sensation.</p> <h1>So, Does penis size matter?</h1> <p>From a scientific point of view, there is no big difference between 10 and 20 cm.</p> <p>Although a bigger size can stimulate more vaginal nerves, the G spot is found in the First 1/3 of the vaginal wall.</p> <p>Natural selection plays a huge role in favoring a bigger size, as a larger penis can eliminate much more sperm from another male and inseminate his own but this is not really the case here because we live in a world bind by moral codes.</p> <p>https://steemitimages.com/DQmZik4UN5R59HVeHQ8DqVLEJ5jMpDyU86nUVN6m6PJpqmq/Gspot.jpg</p> <p>The sexual intercourse has a psychological part also because preferences vary from women to other.Sexual arousal and actually having sex require a minimum attraction from both sides and it can be affected by a women's personal point of view.This part is as important as the first one.</p> <p>Therefore the size of penis size have an impact on both partners and it can affect the sexual intercourse.A common belief is that the /<del><strong>bigger the better</strong></del>/ but this is not always true. Every male can satisfy his female if he does it right.</p> <h1>Putting it all together:</h1> <p>Each female is different and as long as you are confident and master the other parts of the sexual intercourse you're gonna be fine.Just remember the only obstacle is the psychological barrier. Although size is somehow better.
