0.000 HBDIs Proof of Stake Another Challenge Facing the Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs)
Greetings great Info-Warriors, hope you're doing well. For me it's another time to be appreciative to God for yet another day. It's me @faquan. The anonymous status of the decentralized ecosystem had multiple challenges: first, it gives one the opportunity to operate multiple hive accounts. Second, since there's no centralized authority to watch these excesses, one can use it's stake as a tool of operation. It's true that the Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) is the hope of the world economy in the future, but I'd everything right about the DAOs. I don't think so, which is actually true purpose of this post. Stay with me as we x-ray into some significant facts about the challenges of DAOs. [Source](https://www.shutterstock.com/image-illustration/conceptual-business-illustration-words-proof-stake-1043480776) The main reasons for shifting from a centralized to a decentralized ecosystem is because we view the centralized systems as being corrupt, oppress and the ability to censor others. To avoid these irregularities, we say that the solution is to be decentralized. Decentralization in itself isn't a problem but the ability to monitor the excesses is. How do we control the powers an individual has in the blockchain becomes the challenge? Like the quotations below will say: >It can be quick to seem like this should be okay. If we are dealing with a market and you are not voting for rules, censorship, etc. and are simply paying for goods with your stake then this largely would not be a problem. However, if that stake is driving the rules then people are NOT EQUAL. In a decentralized ecosystem everyone is not actually equal due to the freedom it gives to members of the ecosystem. Don't you think that freedom could lead to some form of unbalanced relationships within the ecosystem? Capitalism and it's tenets gives one the ability to create different strides of incomes and this might be the beginning of centralizing power in a decentralized ecosystem. >If people can accumulate stake, and they can create multiple accounts that are anonymous then anyone with the will and/or technological knowledge of how to create and control those accounts can rapidly accumulate power.[Click link](https://hive.blog/hive-150329/@dwinblood/the-price-of-anonymity-on-the-blockchain) **Is Proof of Stake a Plus or Minus in a Decentralized Blockchain** Another area that could look as if a decentralized ecosystem is exhibiting corruption, excessive power and oppression is in proof of stake. Proof of stake to me simply means increasing one's stake in the blockchain. This can be acquired in two ways: through investing in the blockchain and through content creation upvotes. An individual who owns a higher stake in the ecosystem controls the system. This control can come in form of deciding whom to upvote and the kind of content they'll like to curate. For instance, an individual with a single account could decide to create accounts for his family members, friends in his or her decision to upvote their content. This can't be challenged by any person because the system is decentralized without rules of engagement. Everyone decides what to do with their resources, so anyone that's against a person's way of spending his investment should go and invest in the blockchain. In conclusion, I'll say that there's no perfect system in the world, but I know that the Decentralized Autonomous Organizations is the future of world economy. That's my opinion, what about yours?
