Welcome to the first edition of my entry for this week. It's been an amazing moment. The weather is gradually challenging to deep cold. Thanks be to God for everything sha. I want to sincerely appreciate all the management for their love and care that is shown to us all the time. This community is like a family to me now. I can confidently share my ideas and views on things to impact another life out there.

When I saw the topic for this edition, I was confused and my head was hot. I had to take a deep rest owing to the fact that I had a hectic day. I kept wondering what practical skills do I have apart from internet or that is not connected to Internet. What could this be? How would I start it? It appears as if there's nothing I can do because of the time and season we are into now where everything seems to be inclined with internet. 
What's skill? This is a situation an individual acquired capacity by the virtue of consistency and constant practices, experience or training. These acquired skills gives an individual the ability to perform and achieve task with maximum efficiency.

There varied kinds of skills out there which one could acquire. If not because of the nature of the times and season we are into where every kind of skill is attached to internet however there are other vital skills that play out without any Internet. Before I proceed, let me brush down the different kinds of skills that we have which are; creative, cognitive etc. All these skills are very important and it promotes self direct learning, it increases good training and education.

All skills are geared towards one's personal development and growth. One of the skills i know i have that has nothing to do with internet is teaching and mobilization. This has been there before the advent of internet or rather before i personally encountered the Internet facility. Teaching is one of the noble profession i cherished over time. One of the sectors that suffered long is the education. Looking at the moral decadence in our society today the impact of education can't be overemphasized.

In one of my that i made recently, i shared about how some medical personnels are magnified sometimes more than the teachers that taught them. This is wrong for me. Teachers should be celebrated and appreciated. I thank God because I am one of them.
With the skill of teaching, one could actually make money. I remembered when u was serving as a youth corper, I had the privilege to teach some sets of Young people thst were preparing for JAMB and WAEC. I made some cash during that period.

I was teaching one subject for five thousand naira only. Aside the money i was making, i found joy and peace in doing this. There are moments in life that one must figure out what brings pleasure and fulfillment than just making money. My teaching skill has enabled me gained lots of benefits. The guy i taught in senior class one, today has been admitted into Nigeria Bar Association as a solicitor. 
Teaching skill is the best because it involves transfer of knowledge from one person to another.
Whether with internet or not i can still survive it.
