There is a commandment for us to observe one another. The focus of gathering is not offering. The main reason for gathering is for brethren to see each other. To know whether anyone needs help. We gather together exhort one another and to observe one another. >1 Corinthians 11:21-22 KJV For in eating every one taketh before other his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken. [22] What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. We are instructed to gather together to see each other. >2 John 1:12 KJV Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full. >Acts 20:7 KJV And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. A big part of the gathering is spent on studying the word of God. >1 Corinthians 14:26 KJV How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. When we gathered we should all have a psalm. We should sing when we come together. The early Christians gathered to worship on Sunday. So we can gather on Sunday and even any day of the week. >John 20:19 KJV Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. >Acts 2:46 KJV And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, In the gathering, when we pray, God heals, forgives and answer our prayers. >1 Peter 5:14 KJV Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
