In this post, I discuss Poloniex and Bittrex FINALLY returning my missing SBD, and how I've been demoing the "Exodus"wallet - and my personal review of it!

https://steemitimages.com/DQmV4rCUQe4o7rV1xVcPc6cCegT6oMRuYz9c7px5U154Ssa/ExodusMain.png

So, after not really having the best week, as some of you know, I did get a bit of good news on the crypto front.

Poloniex had been holding 45 SBD since right before HF19, without responding to my ticket until they actually returned the funds yesterday - even though the transfer was initiated on 6/20! That's 24 days without a response - I know someone else waited nearly 50 days for his 3000 Steem, so I don't have any room to complain. I'm just glad they returned it finally. ---
However, I'm glad I withdrew almost instantly - because as of right now, SBD wallets on Poloniex are down for "maintenance" yet again.

Also, I had sent a little over 80SBD to my Bittrex account a few days after the Poloniex incident - however, while entering the memo, my internet glitched out and decided to complete the transfer to the wrong memo. *Thanks crappy internet*.
Just like Poloniex, it took Bittrex around 3 weeks to even respond/return the funds, despite immediately opening a ticket and sending photo proof of the incident.

Kinda sucks, because when I sent them they were worth around $1.70 each - when I finally got them? Worth about $0.96-0.98 haha...looks like I got a negative interest rate on that freebie loan to them :P Either way, it was nice to get back roughly 125SBD that I figured I'd never see again, so I turned it all into Steem and transferred to my account so I could get a little BTC. ----- @Skinnythames aka my buddy Davin has been raving about this new wallet app called "Exodus.io" - so I had to check it out. While the fees are a bit steep, the UI is gorgeous, the transfer times were fast, and it's neat that it's hooked up to the ShapeShift.io exchange - I traded a little BTC for some EOS just to see and already jumped up a few bucks. Cool :P Anyway - here's some screenshots of the Exodus app. If you're looking for a new wallet desktop app, I'd say this one is worth a look - they support multiple altcoins (sadly, no Steem or SBD) but it's a really neat, FAST, wallet and very resource friendly on my laptop. I'm going to run Exodus for a little bit and see if it remains a stable option for me. Long term I'm looking to build up a diversified crypto portfolio - after I handle all this crap that's happening in Thailand right now -_- Anyways, if you guys want to try out the Exodus wallet for yourself, you can grab it below. It's compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux. Unfortunately, no mobile support at this point - but I'm cool with that anyways ;)

https://www.exodus.io/releases/

*This Panda is not affiliated with the Exodus app or team in any way and receives nothing for sharing this - I simply wanted to share my personal experience with it so far*
If you enjoyed this review, please consider upvoting, following and resteeming me - I'll be launching PandaCast as soon as I make it out of Thailand - in the meantime, I'll be writing and catching up on tons of back stuff.

-Panda
