BitShares is one of the first Blockchains to offer a single level affiliate program. 
Means you can invite people and earn on their paid-for actions on the Blockchain.

# How to Participate

### Requirements

* Your account **must** be Life Time Member
*Life Time Members get 80% of any fee they pay back!*

### Refer

* Your Referral Link is located in `Membership` 

Example: `https://bitshares.openledger.info?r=YOURUSERNAME`

### Earnings

**Here's a simple earnings example:**

1. You Refer UserB. 
2.  UserB upgrades to Life Time Membership (LTM) to save on market fees.

UserB paid: 17,612 BitShares for the Upgrade
You earn: 10,567 (60%) ~ around $50!
Registrar Earns: 3,522 (20%)
Network earns: 3,522 (20%) - this is used for self-sustaining eg. Workers and other on-chain stuff

### Vesting

The BitShares of the above mentioned example moved to `Vesting Balances` and can be fully claimed after 90 days. Vesting is used to prevent cheating on the system.

You are free to hit `CLAIM NOW` any time - but note that you'll vest a bit longer for the remaining Vesting balance amount. Time is the price you pay for early claiming.
