Today I found this nice post on Steem about @steem2wls which is a service that allows us to crosspost on Steem AND Whaleshares in one go.

Even the logo is well thought out

Now if this was the only possibility available I would be sceptical and might not use the service

# But it is not,

The service allows for the writer to exclude posts with certain tags or by adding the code shown below

And this is really a nifty feature.  I do not mind most of my posts being crossposted on both platforms but I do not want all of them to go on both
So to have the opportunity to change what I want to go where is pretty cool.
I have been having a bit of an issue with Whaleshares posting my pictures *(cannot seem to get a profile pic up either, it does not accept mine)*  so I am really curious to see what will happen with this post and the pictures used in it.

Another cool thing is that they are running this in beta and as such the service is for free for the first 3 months and after that they are going to charge 1 sbd per month or 10 sbd a year.  This really seems like a reasonable and fair price especially since the service will be expanded and the options for crossposting will be refined.

The biggest downside for the moment for me is that even though you can connect to the service on the steem side with steemconnect it is not possible to do so and you have to hand out your posting key.

That is also the only reason why I have actually chosen to try this out.  If it would have asked for the active key there would have been no takers for this at all but in this case I guess its worth a try.

Worst thing that can happen is that if your posting key on whaleshares gets stolen, the thief can write in your name and vote in your name but do nothing with the coins themselves.

It would also be cool if some of the more "hacker" inclined among you would go and see if they can crack that site?
