Now that this bitcoin gold thing is behind us we really saw the drop on the bitcoin price this morning and the alts immediately bouncing up.

This really proves that a lot of people just wanted that bitcoin gold and now that the fork is over and done with they can easily move back to their original coins and go on as before and hope that they get the same effect as Bitcoin Cash (I personally am not really won over by how the BTG fork went down).

**So I actually have 2 points/questions here**

- is bitcoin going to rise again in preparation of SegWit2X similarly as it did the last few weeks
- and if it does can we expect a similar loss (temporary) of our alts and our beloved STEEM

For me it was a good thing because I spent my monthly crypto budget on STEEM at 0.9* (only 100 dollar but those are already 120ish now)* but if it will drop I can sell "high" and then next month buy low and hopefully turn my 120 in 150...

So share your opinions with me, I am to much of an amateur to really have knowledgeable opinion
