Hello Steemians! I don't have worked today after the declaration for classes suspension due to the typhoon **Basyang**. So I remember what had happened in my class a day ago, I would like to share this to you. My Grade 9 students were required to assemble a LAN cable in their Computer Hardware Servicing class. I had checked eleven cables done but noticed only ten cables on my table few minutes before the time ends. So I investigated who got one and made it an output under his name. I called the attention of those eleven students to let me convince that they never did the offense until in my own judgement I found the two being guilty. So I let them explain if really they did it and who's idea was it. The two students pointed each other who made the idea as if none of them were sinners. So making use of my remaining time, I narrated to the class what I heard from a lecture in a Charismatic bible studies. Happy to share this to you my dear Steemians. *Image Source* @Google.com The speaker said, *Our tongue is like a fire that can burn a huge forest*. Yes it is a smaller part of the body but it can destruct the lives of others. On the other hand, the fire is so useful but can burn even the biggest forest or by negligence can burn a household and many other properties. *Our tongue is for the glory of God and for the blessings of others; or they may be misused, bringing sorrow and tears to others.* Count on these following bible verses.**A tiny spark can set a whole forest on fire, and the tongue is like a small flame.** *(Proverbs 16:27) **What the tongue says comes from the heart.** *(Matthew 12:34-35) *This means that most likely the words that come from our mouth expresses our feelings, so if you do badmouthing, your heart is a reservoir of hatred. **An evil tongue can also spread poison. On the other hand, a spiritual tongue is a medicine.** *(Proverbs 12:18).* Had anyone approached you for pieces of advice? What advices you had given, was it relieving or adding the burden of the problem? **The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one' s life on fire and is itself set on fire by hell.** *(James 3:6)* I ended saying to my class citing a classmate who no longer come to school because of frequent bullying or in some cases because of the harsh words or scolding by a teacher; reminding the whole class about honesty as in the case of a false witness in a court just to win. We are not perfect but we have the control how to execute good behavior. Before we speak, we have to think it twice or more; if those words we wish to utter are not hurting to others or not creating a bigger flame of conflict and misunderstanding. *My students in assembling a LAN cable* *The required LAN cable* Hope my students internalized what I shared to them.
