<center></center> Pretend you can only buy products from steemmonsters using SBD, including cards from the market. You and everyone else would be forced to trade STEEM or other crypto for SBD, raising SBD prices. This is because there can only be a certain % of SBD compared to STEEM at any point in time. When a SBD holder finally reaches a point when using the convertion function (not to be confused with trading) is efficient, they use it to amass steem / steem power which powers their business further into the long term. SBD, Steem Power and the convertion mechanism are not here by chance. These features are a core part of the steem blockchain, envisioned by it's original creator Dan Larimer. These make it easy to power long-term business models. A couple of months ago, I complained about steemmonsters refusing to accept anything other than SBD. Now much more enlightened, I feel guilty of maybe being partially responsible for them adding STEEM as a payment option. *TL;DR: SBD is much more important than we realize.*
