Uno de los retos más grandes de todo ser humano es comunicar. Si eres periodista ésto no tiene mayor problema porque has estudiado para ello y eso supone un GAP para el resto de los mortales. Sin embargo, años de experiencia manejando grupos de ventas en nuestras empresas, nos entregaron las herramientas para enfrentar un auditorio inmenso en la BlockchainCon Latam 2023. Y fue a partir de la charla impartida, que una serie de invitaciones para almorzar, cenar o a presenciar eventos han sido consecuencia de aquella.
> *One of the biggest challenges of every human being is to communicate. If you are a journalist, this is not a major problem because you have studied for it, which is a GAP for the rest of the mortals. However, years of experience managing sales groups in our companies, gave us the tools to face a huge audience at BlockchainCon Latam 2023. And it was from the talk given, that a series of invitations for lunch, dinner or to attend events have resulted from it.*
El martes tocó en turno almuerzo con Renzo, el organizador de la BlockchainCon Latam 2023. La comida peruana es una exquisitez. No puedo explicar en palabras, los sabores de los que nuestro paladar tuvo el privilegio de saborear. Primero porque las fusiones de sabores son increíblemente variadas, luego porque los platos elaborados con delicadeza o sin ella, no son algo para lo que estuviera preparado. Es decir, una cosa es comer comida peruana fuera de las fronteras del hermano país y otra muy diferente es estar in situ, degustando cada maravilla culinaria.
> *On Tuesday it was lunch with Renzo, the organizer of BlockchainCon Latam 2023. Peruvian food is a delicacy. I can not explain in words, the flavors that our palate had the privilege to taste. First, because the fusions of flavors are incredibly varied, then because the dishes prepared with delicacy or without it, are not something I was prepared for. That is to say, it is one thing to eat Peruvian food outside the borders of our brother country and quite another to be in situ, tasting every culinary wonder.*

Un ejemplo de ello fue el pollo a las brasas. Fuimos a probar ésta maravilla gastronómica a Pardo's Chicken y nada parecido a los sabores acostumbrados en nuestra patria. No me malinterpreten. Cada uno tiene su encanto, pero el de la capital limeña se lleva las palmas sin dudar. Culminado el almuerzo nos fuimos a pasear por un exclusivo centro comercial: Jockey Plaza. Allí compré unos zapatos Nike porque los Sketchers que tenía en la maleta dijeron adiós luego de las primeras caminatas en Lima. Fue una necesidad cubierta más que un lujo. También compramos unos lentes de sol, porque las gafas anteriores las había dejado abandonadas en el aeropuerto de Miami.
> *An example of this was the grilled chicken. We went to try this gastronomic wonder at Pardo's Chicken and it was nothing like the flavors we are used to in our homeland. Don't get me wrong. Each one has its charm, but the one in the capital of Lima takes the palms without a doubt. After lunch, we went for a walk through an exclusive shopping mall: Jockey Plaza. There I bought some Nike shoes because the Sketchers in my suitcase said goodbye after the first walk in Lima. It was a necessity rather than a luxury. We also bought some sunglasses, because the previous glasses I had left abandoned at the airport in Miami.*
Luego de las compras de ese día y con las gracias para Renzo, nos dispusimos a participar en una charla en The Bitcoin House. LoreBitcoin y BTCAndrés (por sus respectivos nicknames en twitter) fueron los anfitriones. Disertaron sobre las ventajas de poseer Bitcoins, pero también permitieron debates sobre las visiones de #Web3 en la que pudimos dar nuestro punto de vista sobre las comunidades propietarias. Aquellas, como la nuestra, que no solo se aglutinan alrededor de la idea Web3 sino que integran una blockchain a sus operaciones como un modo de financiamiento para sus actividades.
> *After shopping that day and with thanks to Renzo, we set out to participate in a chat at The Bitcoin House. LoreBitcoin and BTCAndrés (by their respective Twitter nicknames) were the hosts. They talked about the advantages of owning Bitcoins but also allowed discussions about the visions of #Web3 in which we could give our point of view about proprietary communities. Those, like ours, not only gather around the Web3 idea but also integrate a blockchain into their operations as a way of financing their activities.*

Las visiones de Web3 son tan amplias como diversas. Es un bosque inmenso con mapas por estudiar e innumerables proyectos por conocer. Mi vida siempre había estado dentro de HIVE desde que me dediqué a Web3, pero el viaje a Perú me abrió una perspectiva diferente en cuanto al mundo donde estamos inmersos. Digamos que de ser maximalista de nuestro ecosistema hemos pasado a ver el bosque más ampliamente. No sé lo que depara el futuro, pero al ver todos los demás proyectos presentes en el evento, no pude menos que sentir satisfacción por la madurez alcanzada por nuestra comunidad. Y lo poderoso que resulta ser propietarios con Dapps devolviendo soluciones a nuestros socios.
> *The visions of Web3 are as broad as they are diverse. It is an immense forest with maps to study and countless projects to learn about. My life had always been within HIVE since I dedicated myself to Web3, but the trip to Peru opened a different perspective on the world where we are immersed. Let's say that from being maximalist of our ecosystem we have moved on to seeing the forest more broadly. I don't know what the future holds, but seeing all the other projects present at the event, I couldn't help but feel satisfied with the maturity reached by our community. And how powerful it is to be owners with Dapps giving solutions back to our partners.*
Ningún proyecto es mejor que otro. El discurso en Web3 ha de ser cuidadoso porque hay gente como nosotros, entregando todo a sus respectivos proyectos. Respetuosos como somos, lo que siempre hemos querido difundir es como HIVE puede ayudar a las comunidades sin una blockchain detrás y sin propiedad alguna. Una de las soluciones que se nos ocurrió en Perú para una comunidad llamada @criptocuriosas fue tokenizar los lindos avatares que las representan, en nuestra DAPP @nftshowroom y de éste modo, conseguir financiamiento para sus actividades.
> *No project is better than another. The discourse on Web3 has to be careful because there are people like us, giving everything to their respective projects. Respectful as we are, what we have always wanted to spread is how HIVE can help communities without a blockchain behind any property. One of the solutions we came up with in Peru for a community called @criptocuriosas was to tokenize the cute avatars that represent them, in our DAPP @nftshowroom and in this way, get funding for their activities.*

Como quiera que sea, Web3 representa el mañana. Las posibilidades son vastas en un universo que empoderará a las personas de modos insospechados. Solo la difusión y los talentos de quienes ya estamos inmersos en éste mundo, podrán ayudar a millones de personas con verdadera inclusión, muy lejana a la retórica de los poderes fácticos. Soñar nada cuesta, jamás pensé estaría en tarima representando a nuestra blockchain, pero he allí que lo hicimos. Y con resultados sólidos que estarán por verse en los próximos días.
