Greetings brethren, it's another day again to learn from the Bible teaching of Brother Eli Soriano. Today's Bible lesson that i want to share the review with you is on the subject of forgiveness of sins.

Forgiveness is one of the cardinal teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ while He was on earth.And, it's one important Bible lesson we must pay attention to.

In this lesson, Brother Eli begins by pointing out the two kinds of sins a person can commit. This includes;

**1. Sin unto death.**

**2. Sin not unto death.**

Let's us see what the Bible have to say about the two kinds of sins.

 1 John  5:16

**"If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it."**

The Bible is telling us that there's a mortal and bot mortal sins. Mortal sins are sins that people easily fall into due to the human nature or weakness. These are unintentional sins, they are not planned or done purposely. These are sins that resulted from temptations or situations that are not under your control.

 Such sins that are unintentionally done have the chance for forgiveness, because they were not done purposely but due to human weakness. These are such sins that even if you grow older you cannot be able to control yourself not to commit them. That was what Jesus Christ try to explain to the Apostle Peter in the book of Matthew chapter 18, verse 21.

 Let us read the scripture

**"Then came Peter to him and said lord how oft shall my brothers sin against me and I forgive him till seven times? Jesus saith unto him I say not unto thee until seven times. But until 70 times seven"**

As a Christian, it is important to have a broad understanding when dealing with fellow believers. In the Bible, the apostle Peter asks how many times a brother may sin against us before it becomes unforgivable. This is not classified as an unpardonable sin, such as sinning against the Holy Spirit. It is important to approach forgiveness with an open heart and a willingness to extend grace to others.

The Bible teaches that forgiveness is not limited to a specific number of times. When asked if a brother who sins seven times should be pardoned, Jesus Christ replied that forgiveness should be extended until 70 times 7, which is 490. As long as the sin is not considered unpardonable, it can be forgiven according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

We must accept the teaching; it does not incite us to sin repeatedly; rather, it merely illustrates the possibility that a person may commit sins repeatedly over the course of a lifetime in order for us to comprehend the scope of God's forgiveness of man, provided that the sin in question does not fall under the category of what is known as an unpardonable sin.

For the Bible states in Hebrews Chapter 10 Verse 26 that if you willfully commit crimes that are unpardonable, you are under the judgment of God.

**"For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins. But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries."**

It depends on the circumstances or the intentions for the sins. However, if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth there remained no more sacrifice for sins. it just means that jesus christ our lord is qualifying or teaching us how to classify sins done to us by ourselves.

It's important for us at this point to identify the type of sin are you committing. Is it grievous or unpardonable? if it is unpardonable sin, it means you did it willfully, and of your own free will. There is no force or anything responsible for your actions. To do such sin, you will have to face the judgement of God. If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins
