 [Last time](https://hive.blog/hive-140217/@fieryfootprints/fiery-plays-the-witcher-3-part-92-curse-or-treat) we lifted a curse that was casted by Gaunter o'dimm(a devil/ demon from previous DLC). After that we renovated our Vineyard of Corvo Bianco and shared a bottle of vine steward/ majordomo. After that we became even more powerful by going past additional mutations.          This time we went to see Regis again and told him that we got a missing piece for concoction that will reveal where we can find Dettlaff( the Beast), Concoction was still missing another higher vampire's blood. But normal blood was not gonna work. We had to drive that vampire (Our best friend Regis) to a state of rage and madness. Higher vampires are always very dangerous but when they become enraged that danger to others increases greatly. So our friend Regis was worried that he may harm us if we are not careful enough. So he devised a plan. We had to go to vampire estate called Tasham Mutna. There were special cages that could withstand even rage of higher vampires.         We went to Tasham Mutna. Regis told us a few more stories about vampire lore. We found a nice new armor. After that we locked Regis in a cage. After that various monsters smelled Regis and came out. We killed a bunch of monsters. The smell of their blood made Regis go mad for a while so he was rampaging inside the cage. But he was unable to get out. After that we got a bit of Regis blood as our final ingredient for Concoction. After that we waited a bit for Regis to calm down. Then we went to Regis hideout in the graveyard and finished browning a concoction. We drank it and saw a vision/ memories of Dettlaff.       In the vision we saw how Dettlaff met with one of his victims. Dettlaff was at a boot shiners place. Some rude person tried to cut the line before Dettlaff but the person who Dettlaff killed later told to let Dettlaff go first. After that Dettlaff and his future victim became friends. But after some time Dettlaff got a letter telling him who to kill and it was his new friend. So Dettlaff slew him even despite feeling great regret after the deed. Dettlaff's remorse was so great that he cut his own hand that he used to kill his victim.(after that his hand regenerated back because he is a higher vampire).
