He wants to take the Deer Woman by the shoulders and shake her until she tells him where his wife and daughter are. But something in the way she looks at him stays his hand. Something… Regret? Fear? He doesn't know.

With a strangled cry of frustration he bursts from the attic and down the stairs. A few moments later he finds himself standing once again before the glass door.

It's grown later in the day since he's left this space, and now the sun has risen across the walls and is just starting to gently touch the ceiling… The hall glows a warm orange hue around him as he stares into the depths of the door's glass surface, gazing intently into it's slightly opaque medium that beguiles his concentration. But then he straightens up and addresses the barrier calmly.

"I know what my name is now," he says.

The door waits in silence. He has to hold back with all of his will not to smash his fists straight through the frosted glass.

"My name is Simon."
