Hello Everyone.
Today, I made my second wildlife drawing using a white Charcoal pencil on black cardboard paper. The drawing depicts a leopard looking out to a light source from the dark. This effect was achieved as a result of the reflection from the black paper and the artistic effect of the white pencil on black cardboard paper. I made this drawing to pratice drawing of fur details using the white charcoal and my wildlife reference photograph belongs to the wildlife artist and photography, Richard Simmonds.

Here are the steps involved;
 I began by drawing the face of the leopard starting from its eyes.

Next, I began to add fur details down to its nose, mouth and ears.

Finally, I continued to building tge fur details to other parts of its body until I got a satisfactory.
I adjusted the amount of pressure I exerted on the white charcoal pencil as I went from the face to its back to give the effect of a fade.
