I love to photograph simple objects, like apples or rocks. On them you can still find so much detail, that you can look at them for minutes.
But on the other side they are really easy to photograph.
One of the first photos I took with my camera was from an apple which was hanging at the appletree in my grandparents garden.

Its not perfect, I know, but it was the first picture I took myself with my camera, where I was thinking, wow, I captured that amazing photo and not some random prophotografer somewhere in the internet.
This picture motivated me to go out and take much more photos, without caring, that I will probably delete 90% of them soner or later.

Another wonderful simple photomotive can be found on flowers. They are easy to capture, but they bring so much natural beauty.

If I would have the time, I would look at the beauty of this small thing for hours. Its just so satisfiying to look at a picture taken of a flower, because it allowes you to bring the beauty of nature to your monitor. 

In my opinion those simple photomotives are also a really good opinion to discover all the settings of your camera without to trouble of a big changing background.
