<p>Yesteday i posted a&nbsp;<a title="link to my post" href="https://steemit.com/trading/@fisker/invest-in-a-previous-failed-coin-html-5-coin" target="_blank" rel="noopener">post about HTMLcoin</a> in the post i told about the history behind HTMLcoin, regarding what the new HTMLcoin is and what the old HTML5coin was. It also tells a bit about the new technologies in the new HTMLcoin and what it is trying to achieve.</p>
<p>In this post i will give my thoughts on investing in this coin.</p>

<h1>Why invest in HTMLcoin</h1>
<h3>The team</h3>
<p>The team consist of skilled people with different backgrounds, with good ties into the crypto world but also the existing financial world.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The team have a combined background in development and implementing online technologies, B2B marketing, making complex technologies (like blockchain) simple and many other things.<br />With the expertise in many different areas the team should be able to achieve their goals for the project.</p>
<h4>Projects in the pipeline</h4>
<p>The team has a lot of ideas what they want to use the coin for. Some of them are listed under here and more can be found on their websites.</p>

<li>Develop a crowdfunding platform</li>
<li>Develop a freelance platform (website and iOS/Android app)</li>
<li>Develop platform based medical devices</li>

<h1>Why not invest in HTMLcoin</h1>
<ul>
<li>The team has not the target to gain profit, so the will be no coin buy back and coin burning.</li>
<li>Big supply - upto 90,000,000,000 - right now about 50,357,742,244 in circulation</li>
<li>Premine, because of no ico. about 17,000,000,000 is kept for funding. Not a directly bad thing, but some see it as a bad thing. But in some way they need to cover their cost.</li>
<li>Not for a quick profit.</li>

<h1>My thoughts&nbsp;</h1>
<p>I have invested some myself, i think the project sounds good and have some great ideas and projects.<br />They have a long roadmap with a lot planned out, which also means that this coin is not for quick profits. The coin will go up i value (i believe) but i think it is going to be a long HODL. I have invested around 5% of my portfolio, transferred it to the official wallet and just waiting now. I also try to engage in the community.</p>

<h1>How do i acquire HTMLcoin?</h1>
<p>HTMLcoin can be bought at some different exchanges, like Tradesatoshi and bleutrade, the coin is also soon to be on Kucoin (not confirmed but i #2 in the <a href="https://www.kucoin.com/#/vote" rel="noopener">vote contest</a>). The coin is cheap right now, trading at 24 satoshi.</p>
<p>If you have some HTML5coins they can be swapped on <a href="https://htmlcoin.com/swap-form/" rel="noopener">this</a> site, until the 12th of February the ratio will be 1:1</p>
<p>It is, of course, also possible to mine the coin, at the moment only via CPU though, and not via GPU yet. The coin uses the "Double SHA 256".</p>
