After the [TokenBB forum for Splinterlands](https://forum.splinterlands.io/) was already running for a week and also used staked SPT to upvote posts and comments, we now get a nitrous powered Steemit-clone for Splintertalk as well._  ## Welcome to the Schlaraffenland The long dream of tokens based on Steem with similar voting behavior has become reality and catapults our blockchain onto a new level. The hype is real. With one post we can now earn already three tokens with only one upvote. By connecting #stp and #palnet, we link any Steem post, from any Steem frontend, with both ecosystems and the general Steem environment. If a user has all three tokens staked, the upvote will automatically be done in all three of them. And this is just the beginning. Welcome to the land of milk and honey, what we call in German _Schlaraffenland_.  ## Many Pieces From Many Pies From this moment forward we all start earning shares from various pools of value. The tokens will allow us to participate in hundreds of different projects, by sharing our content, time and services. Steem is the mother token of all of them and is required for Resource Credits. But having all these different tokens will allow for better curation and rewards within each niche and lead to a chain-effect of events, like higher quality content, growing readerships and communities, improving development of Steem apps and so on.  Being active now in all these different ecosystems is incredibly rewarding. It is fun and motivating to see all these things unfold in such a great pace and be at the forefront of the early adopters. It all feels right and perfectly timed. Very soon we will earn tokens with projects we haven't even heard about yet but also with all our favorite Steem app, that are around for a while now and will likely all get their own tokens now.  ## Splinterlands Is Changing Everything It was @SteemMonsters, the game that was later rebranded into @splinterlands, that introduced a sort of non-fungible token (NFT) to the Steem blockchain, by writing the ownership of a virtual asset onto the Steem blockchain. The game brought in a lot of money and excitement and is constantly innovating itself. Out of the success grew the Steem-Engine project and with it the token magic we see today.  After getting the amazing Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) update with the new game tokens, we are now seeing the second token economy with Splintertalk being introduced. Other than DEC, you can stake Splintertalk and enable the upvoting feature. You don't even have to upvote via the specific platforms, as any upvote counts towards all eligible tokens. This might change in the future but also has its advantages right now. The Splinterlands abundance has helped me to get through the crypto winter. It wasn't easy but thanks to the game I was able to pay my rent last month. But enough for now, I have to monetize my latest reward card: The gold foil Sacred Unicorn, worth 75,000 DEC.
