## Work Smarter Not Harder

I am quite sure you have heard this slogan before, especially if you have been around affiliate marketing any amount of time, but what does it really mean, and why is it so important?

So at the very core of this statement lies the concept of doing the same amount of work on a daily and weekly basis, but get a constantly increasing result from it, at least that is my interpretation of it.

That means it's really all about scalability and building leverage to earn a higher yeild, but without adding more work on top, and in online business this is easy to accomplish, but we need to constantly remind ourselves of that.

### Build And Leverage Your List

In affiliate marketing the first thing that needs to be implemented to accomplish this is to build your list, and then use it.

Both those points are very important.

1. Build Your List
2. Use Your List

By building your list every day and every week you have a constant flow of new subscribers signing up, and by using it you are able to leverage that list into referrals, sales and customers, and you can do that over and over without having to build it anew each time you have something new to promote, it's your business.

### Build And Leverage Your Brand

You build your brand each and every day by creating content here on Steem and CTPtalk, by making blog posts and videos, by upvoting, commenting and engaging with the people you meet here on this platform.

It's not an overnight thing, but each and every day you add a little more, make new connections and form new relationships, and you are constantly building your brand by doing that.

You are building the **Know, Like and Trust** that is paramount to have people do business with you, so when you recommend a product or service in your blog or vlog, then you already have prequalified people that want to use that, because you recommended it.

### The Holy Grail

There is more of course, because the next logical step is to combine these 2 together, your list and your brand, you use your list to promote your blog and vlog, and then you use your brand to promote your list.

This is The Holy Grail of affiliate marketing, the circle that constantly delivers inreasing results back to you, more subscribers to your list and more people that follow and interact with you on you blog and vlog, and that translates to more referrals, more sales and commissions, and all without adding more work for you.

So build your list and use it, and build your brand and leverage it, and do connect them and build that increasing and ever expanding circle of leverage and earn increasingly higher and higher rewards, and do help your fellow brothers and sisters in this business to do the same.
