Tokenization of for example real estate makes a lot of sense in my book. You make liquidity way easier and you make fractional ownership real easy while you still earn your fair share of the rent income.

Swarm is a platform I have my eyes on for a while now and thinking about opening a position there.

People come together to invest in certain things. Like shares of an exchange or a dash masternode.

It lowers the requirments by so much for the little man to invest into such assests which makes it a really intersting concept and opens the door for many new investors.

You can tokenize pretty much everything and it would make so much sense. 

1 Amazon Stock costs you 1.629,13 $ atm. That is quite the number and raise the bar quite high for owning one. 

With the tokenazition you can lower the entry. If stocks will ever get tokenized is another question as you could simply do a split but I don`t really see why not even it will take many moons.

You can do this with sport teams, stadiums, museums etc. The token holders can easily be paid there dividends via airdrops.

What I really like about the whole idea is, that you dont buy into a new ecosystem and hope it will take off and reach adoption, no you really buy a real world asset.


It brings the real world onto the blockchain. Unlike ICOs, which in hinsight  is the space of broken promises and dreams through the lack of accountibility, STOs offer a way realer product and therfore more security.

This niche of tokens is still in its infant stage and it will take a while till we see which platform will be the chosen one the most STOs will launch and which legal issues etc will come with it but I am sure it will be coming.

I personally believe ETH will be a big player in this field as it was in the ICO phase as well but only time will tell if I am right or wrong.

Many believe this will be the new crypto trend 2019 and I can see that happening as well as it makes so much sense.
