It was an interesting experience. The lunch was delivered to the office. We just need to prepare a table and chairs enough to seat everyone. The guy came with a huge square sack behind him like a camel. It was filled with food and I was 'hangry' as hell having only had 3 curry puffs for brunch. We waited patiently as the the guy spread some 'mahjong' paper on the table, then hand in gloves he started placing food on top of the paper. He took some time arranging each food item beginning with salad leaves, grilled chicken, seafood, veggies and the rest. Before we got to dig in, it is customary to let our camera phones 'eat' first. After several poses and shots we dugged in with our hands unabashedly. The foods tasted as good as they looked. The chicken was delicious. It wasn't too dry and the meat tender. And I was surprised it had soft yummy potato stuffing. Seafood was an array of lala, mussels, prawns, crab, cuttlefish and crawfish. The seafood were proportionately cooked with 2 different types of sauces - one looked spicy but not spicy, the other creamy. I preferred the creamy one. Accompaniments to the main spread were fragrant rice, fried 'man tou' buns, black pepper gravy, creamy butter gravy and what I called 'Smurf water'. All in all, it was a surprisingly pleasant lunch. I enjoyed the experience very much. Thanks to my Chief Coaching Officer Ziyad Maricar who always have wonderful ideas when it comes to food. We were all around the table with all that grub as the centrepiece and our hands busy stuffing our faces, we conversed and poked fun at each other laughing out loud. At the end of the meal, with our bellies filled, what was truly satisfying were the camaraderie and the warmth of friendships. Recommend you try this at least once with your family, friends and co-workers. It will be an unforgettable experience.

The aftermath ๐ https://steemitimages.com/0x0/https://s9.postimg.org/vwkbzusjj/left-arrow-01.png

https://s17.postimg.org/tr9yey13j/26165179_10155944449842889_3213849496601808093_n.jpg

https://steemitimages.com/0x0/https://s18.postimg.org/hf66rvbjd/long-divider-02.png
"upvote, resteem & follow" Together, we Steem on. https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@francesaw/apa-khabar-steemit-community I'm a member of Steem Malaysia - TeamMalaysia on the Steem Blockchain FB Page : https://web.facebook.com/groups/Steem.Malaysia/
