On yet another boring morning, decided to bake chocolate brownies ❤️ I got this chocolate brownie recipe from my mom and they are kind of brownie that can either be cakey or fudgy. INGREDIENTS: 1. 3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons (85 g) unsweetened cocoa powder or 200g. dark chocolate 2. 10 tablespoons (1 1/4 sticks, 140 g) unsalted butter. 3. 1 cup of granulated sugar 4. 2 large eggs, beaten to mix. 5. 1/2 cup all purpose flour 6. 1tsp vanilla essence. 7. 1/4 teaspoon salt. METHOD: 1 Preheat oven and line baking pan: Preheat oven to 325°F (160°F) 2 Put the butter and sugar into the bowl of a food mixer and beat until fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla essence. 3.Spoon the cooled melted chocolate onto the mixture then mix in thoroughly. Sift the flour and cocoa powder onto the mixture and gently stir in. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vY9OsaJCsuc 4.When completely combined, spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and spread evenly. 5 Bake: Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 325°F (160°C), until a bamboo skewer or toothpick inserted into the center comes still a little moist with the brownie batter. Cool completely on a rack. 6 Cut: When cooled, lift up the sides of the foil or parchment liner to remove the brownies from the pan. Place them on a cutting board and cut into 16 to 25 squares or rectangles. I think afternoon coffee and brownies sounds about right. ❤️ Have a great Tuesday Steemians whatever you are doing, wherever you are. Love, Frances
