what do you guys think is going to happen?

If the bitcoin fork fails, wouldn't litecoin skyrocket?  

I'm considering making a large investment into litecoin and right now I feel like I'm missing the train (I have a small position and have been slowly accumulating but I want to make a bigger purchase).  

Should I wait until after August 1st?  Or do it now?  What are your suggestions?
